Bunya House Eungella is a comfy and spacious 2 storey, 3 bedroom, holiday home, in the residence of Eungella General Store, established 1931. You are on a mountain top, 2,200 feet above sea level, in the centre of the village.The short term vacation house is old world meets new age and perfect for large families or groups. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests. There is plenty of activities for adults and children alike; from site seeing, fishing, bird watching, markets, four wheel driving, to swimming at the Gorge.Bunya house is family friendly. We have a children's lounge with DVD and Wii facilities, plus board games for their enjoyment!Ideally positioned within the impressive locality of Eungella National Park and just 80 km West of Mackay, or 2.5 hours to Airlie Beach and the Great Barrier Reef.The upper floor of the home features two separate bedrooms - with queen bed in each room, a children's lounge (with colour TV, Wii console and Wii games), and bathroom with a luxurious sunken bath; enjoy your favorite drink and bubbles by candle light while staring at the stars - the ultimate way to relax! Downstairs features a generous sized bedroom incorporating a queen bed, king single and single pull out trundle bed, a comfortable family living area, large fully equipped kitchen - with all your crockery, cutlery and cooking needs, a pleasant covered outdoor entertaining area, gas hooded barbecue, family dining room, shower and toilet, laundry, plus a cosy intimate fireplace for those cooler nights! During the cooler months firewood is provided free on the first night of stay.Linen, bedding and cutlery provided. Just bring your food and essentials! The home also includes air conditioning and ceiling fans. Parking available.Bunya house is located within walking distance to Rainforest walking trails, Eungella Chalet/Hotel, Cafe, Store and lookout.
