The Farm Shed East Coast Wine Centre showcases the magnificent wines of the region and incorporates wine-tastings and sales, a retail gallery for Tasmanian artists, craftspeople and designers, and a licensed post office. The centre offers tastings and sales for all 20 vineyards on Tasmania's East Coast, including several that do not have their own cellar doors. It also offers tastings and sales of boutique Tasmanian whiskies and gins. When customers decide which wines are their favourites, they can make up mixed cases (which is not possible at the cellar doors) and post them home so there's no risk of breakage and excess baggage charges as there is a licensed post office in The Farm Shed. COVID19 UPDATE The Farm Shed is currently open Monday-Friday, 10 am to 4 pm. Due to the current COVID19 situation, we are unable to offer tastings or let you sit down with a glass of wine, although we are hopeful that will be possible again soon. Visitors are still welcome to explore the East Coast Wine Region via our displays and browse and purchase wine, spirits, art and design. There is plenty of room to maintain social distancing and we have thorough cleaning and plenty of soap and sanitiser....
